Snowdrops

Every February, Benington Lordship's gardens, burst to life with naturalized snowdrops, hellebores, and winter-flowering shrubs. The moat and Norman keep provide a picturesque backdrop, with colorful acer, cornus, and willow stems. The snowdrop walk, a century-old planting, offers a spectacular display of both common and double snowdrop species. A collection of rare and unusual snowdrops, such as 'Diggory,' 'Lady Beatrice Stanley,' 'Blewberry Tart' and 'Primrose Warburg' is a highlight of the display.
